The Garfield High School Army JROTC program is the most progressive JROTC unit in the Los Angeles Unified School District. The program stresses high academics while maintaining its goal of motivating young adults to be better citizens. In addition, the aim is to instill upon all the cadets the principles of leadership and effective communication skills, whereby the cadets will become productive leaders in tomorrow's future.
